XX Jornadas de Ortopedia do Hospital de Sao Joao

I was invited to be a member of the International Faculty in Porto in May 2007. The meeting was the XX Jornadas de Ortopedia do Hospital de São João, and was held at the Faculdade de Medicina do Porto. I presented on Ceramic on Ceramic Bearing Surfaces and 2nd Generation Polyethylene as well as an overview of Cementless and Cemented Total Hip Replacements.

Porto has an impressive University Hospital and a thriving orthopaedic fraternity. My hosts showed typical Portuguese hospitality and the organisers provided the delegates with a lively two day orthopaedic conference.
